Scheduling Reminder: There is NO SCHOOL this upcoming Friday, October 15th for staff or students as this is a "Bad Weather Make-Up Day" that we are not using.

Lexington County School District Three's schools and facilities will resume their regular schedules on Thursday, September 9th. Thank you for your patience and understanding today as we navigated unusual circumstances due to the water supply issue in the Town of Batesburg-Leesville.

Lexington Three is aware of major water supply issues affecting the Town of Batesburg-Leesville. Due to the timing of this advisory, Lexington Three is planning to open schools at their regular times today and we will attempt to hold a normal school day as we're told water could be restored soon. However, if water is not able to be restored, we may have to have an early dismissal day. Parents/Guardians should stay tuned for additional messaging that would be forthcoming should an early dismissal need to occur. Thank you for working with us.

Don't forget that Monday, September 6th is a holiday for all staff and students in Lexington Three as the district observes Labor Day. Enjoy the long weekend!

Lexington Three is beginning the dismissal process once again at all of our schools as of 4 pm. Thank you for your extreme understanding and patience this afternoon as we worked through several inclement weather situations. Remember--Buses will be running later than normal due to these dismissal delays and all afterschool activities/evening classes at the Lifelong Learning Center have been cancelled for today.

As we started dismissing students a little bit ago, another tornado warning was issued for our area. So we have once again halted dismissal at our schools. We apologize for the numerous phone calls/texts this afternoon but we are dealing with the weather on a minute-by-minute basis and are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Thank you for your patience with us. We will update you once the warning has been lifted.

Lexington Three will now begin the dismissal process at our schools as the tornado warning has been lifted for our area. Please note that our buses will be running later than normal today due to the dismissal delays. All evening activities and classes at the Lifelong Learning Center are also cancelled for today.

Due to a tornado warning that has been issued for our area, Lexington Three will be holding students inside of our schools until it is safe to dismiss them. We will update parents/guardians once we begin the dismissal process. Stay safe!

On August 10, 2021, school officials, community leaders, and building project managers will convene at Batesburg-Leesville High School for a special groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate the start of several new construction projects at the school.
