The Lifelong Learning Center has a few teaching opportunities for the 2024-2025 School Year. We are looking for evening English as a Second Language (ESL) and General Equivalency Diploma (GED) teachers. ESL classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30 PM, pay is $25/hour. Spanish speaking ability is not required. The class is taught in English and serves adult learners of many different languages and nationalities. S.C. teacher certification is preferred, but not required. Applicants with other significant professional experiences will be considered. Classes will begin on August 27, 2024. GED classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30 PM, pay is $25/hour, any S.C. teaching certification area is acceptable. We anticipate classes to begin on August 19, 2024. Don't forget that today (July 17th) is Meal Pick-Up Monday! Drop by Batesburg-Leesville Middle School between 11 am and 12 pm to receive a total of five breakfasts and five lunches. Meals are available for children between the ages of 1 and 18 years old. Parents can pick up meals without students in the vehicle. However, PLEASE have your identification and your child’s name(s) available. Meals can be picked up at the rear of BLMS. The address for BLMS is 425 Shealy Road.

It is Staff Appreciation Week in Lexington County School District Three! This special week (May 8th through 12th) is set aside each year to recognize every member of the Panther Family and to show our thanks for all of the work they do day in and day out to help our students learn and grow! If you'd like to send a note of thanks to a Lexington Three staff member who made a difference in your life, send an email to happymail@lex3.org! Lexington Three's summer meal program has been underway since June 6th and will officially wrap up next Thursday, July 28th. Our dedicated Food Services Department staff members have been preparing DELICIOUS and NUTRITIOUS meals for children in our community all summer long and have loved every minute of it. Just look at those delicious plates that were heading out today to the B-L Summer Literacy Program at Faith Lutheran Church!
