Lexington Three To Release Students Early on Tuesday, April 5th

Due to the threat of severe weather that is being forecasted by the National Weather Service, Lexington County School District Three will release students early on Tuesday, April 5th.

Schools will be released using the following schedule:

B-L Primary School will dismiss at 11:30 AM.

B-L Elementary School will dismiss at 11:45 AM.

B-L Middle School will dismiss at 12:15 PM.

B-L High School will dismiss at 12:30 PM.

The National Weather Service is predicting wind gusts of more than 70 mph and the possibility of tornadoes. In addition, heavy rain is expected. The bulk of the severe weather event is forecasted to take place in the afternoon and early evening hours of Tuesday, April 5th.

In addition to all Lexington Three schools releasing early, all afterschool and evening activities that were scheduled for Tuesday, April 5th are also canceled. This includes the district’s Afterschool Programs, all sports practices and games, meetings, and adult education classes at the Lifelong Learning Center.
