GED Classes begin August 19th!
Classes include instruction in the four subject areas of the GED Exam along with helpful test taking skills. Students will also participate in computer-based program to assess employability skills.
Registration for the GED Exam is done online at www.myged.com. Students must complete online registration. See staff for registration assistance.
GED testing is comprised of 4 subject areas. The cost of each test is currently $37.50 (with an increase expected later in 2024). The State of South Carolina provides scholarships for GED Testing for students who reach established benchmarks on the GED Ready test, and students who regularly attend classes. WIN Career Readiness Assessments are part of the GED program.
Day Class: Monday - Thursday | 10am - 1pm
Night Class: Tuesday/Thursday | 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Cost: $25 (This includes all course work for the whole school year.)
ESL Class begins August 26th!
ESL classes are intended to teach English to students who are primarily speakers of other languages. Instruction is available in three levels, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. The class also includes components for United States Citizenship. The Burlington English software package will be used to enhance classroom learning activities.
Day Class: Monday - Thursday | 10am - 1pm

Cost: $40 (This includes all course work for the whole school year.)
