Director's Message

Hi, I'm Randall Price and I am the Director of the LLC. I am honored to lead a tremendously talented LLC team! I look forward to the 2018-2019 school year and continuing to serve the adult learners of our wonderful community.

I have 27 years of experience in public education, with the past twelve years being in Lexington Three. I have served as the Principal of BLMS, Instructional Coordinator and CATE Coordinator at BLHS, Assistant Principal at North Central High and Middle in Kershaw County, and as an Industrial Technology teacher at Clover Junior High, Dacusville Junior High, and Hopkins Middle Schools. I have been in Lexington School District Three since 2006.

I also have served for 33 years in the National Guard and the Army Reserves.  I have had the honor of serving in distant locations such as Afghanistan, Kuwait, Egypt, Italy, Ecuador and Belize.

I am married to Kelly Price, who is the Media Specialist at Batesburg-Leesville High School. Kelly and I are also Lexington Three parents. Our daughters attend Batesburg-Leesville High and Batesburg-Leesville Middle.

At the Lifelong Learning Center, we provide a wide range of services in Adult Education.   Our school provides teacher- and computer-driven instruction.  We offer virtual classes for those who are a few courses short of obtaining a high school diploma, as well as many classes for those interested in obtaining a HSED/GED.

We design our classes along Career Pathways in compliance with the federal regulations of the Workforce and Innovation Opportunity Act.  Instruction is provided in Certified Nursing Assistant, WIN, English for Speakers of Other Languages, Digital Literacy, Paraprofessional and Substitute training and more. We continue to expand our partnerships with the Workforce Development Board, SC Works, SC Voc Rehab, post-secondary education institutions, and local employers.

Parenting and Family Literacy are extremely important components of the Lifelong Learning Center.  Through our partnership with Lexington County First Steps, we are able to offer assistance with child development, parenting skills, and literacy.

For those students seeking to complete a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (GED), the staff at the LLC can assist.   The GED assessment consists of four tests in English, Math, Social Studies and Science.  A writing component is contained in Science and Reading-Language Arts.  This assessment is computer based only.  If a student is only a few courses (no more than 2 credits) from obtaining a high school diploma, our staff will work with the high school counselor to assess the student's transcript and arrange the course(s) needed through the SC Virtual school.

You are invited to visit or call us at any time. Should you have any questions in regards to Adult Education at the LLC, please contact the office at 532-2141 or email or .

Thank you for visiting our website!  Go Panthers!
