Panther Pride School Supply Drive Planned

On August 14th during this year’s Schedule Pick-Up/Meet the Teacher event, volunteers will be present at B-L High School from 10 am - 1 pm and 4 pm - 7 pm collecting school supplies as part of the Panther Pride School Supply Drive.  The items collected on this day will be packed and later distributed to help less fortunate students in Lexington County School District Three start the new school year off well prepared and ready for learning.  


Volunteers say they will be appreciative of any and all donations, but they are encouraging people who would like to contribute to please bring in the following items:


-Binders

-Folders

-Notebooks 

-Loose-leaf paper (wide and college ruled)

-Pencils

-Pens

-Colored Pencils

-Crayons

-Book Bags (regular and small)

-Kleenex


The drive is being planned and organized by Helena Burton, who is a 2017 graduate of B-L High School.  Helena is currently a junior at Lander University where she is majoring in Secondary English Education.  Anyone with questions can email her at burtonhelena1@gmail.com.
